March 18th – My First Run Since Detroit

March 18, 2010 at 3:42 pm 1 comment

I have been totally slammed with work this week.   The local guy I was working for is heading out-of-town for a family vacation so I am helping him get ahead this week and will be covering for him a bit next week.  This means that I’ve been working 12-16 hour days all week.  I am really looking forward to this weekend.

I am heading over to the gym for my first run since my “partying” in Detroit.   I have been putting it off because I’ve been busy and I am not really looking forward to it but, today, I decided I was going no matter what.  Time to lace up the shoes and get it over with.

Sounds like we both had nasty travel experiences this time. My ticket to Bangalore was for some strange reason canceled so after a couple of hours I found 1 flight back home from Frankfurt. Like your trip it was a 4-segment flight with me running between connections to not miss the flights.. The other downside is I had to work overnight last night and will again tonight to lead the workshop. in Bangalore by phone. I am really getting too old for this. I’m glad to hear you got a chance to stop by and visit Jamison and John — and that you are back to running.. After I get some sleep tomorrow I’ll try to give you a call. Love you.
